How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns! Isaiah 52.

Some people find it difficult to believe God's promises when the circumstances they are walking in seem to contradict His word. Broken dreams, loss, heartache, accusations, financial strain are the very opportunities the devil loves to use sow unbelief into the lives of Christians.

From the beginning of time his intention has been to sow unbelief. He said to Eve, "Did God really say that"? You won't die if you eat from this tree, but you will become like God, knowing both good and evil. Eve followed the voice of the deceiver and her eyes were opened to both good and evil. Was it advantageous for Eve to see all that God sees? Was she better off believing God at his word or taking the matter into her own hands?

The prophet Isaiah passionately appeals to God's people to wake up and to cloth themselves with strength. Unbelief is exhausting. It brings confusion and loss of direction. To modernize the expression,
Wake up and smell the coffee! God's is not a man that can lie or abandon you in your time of need. He is the same yesturday today and forever. What to us seems like a delay, to God is perfect timing. Faith is the foundation that sustains us through the dark seasons until we again see the Lord demonstrate his holy power.

When God repeats something in the bible it is worthy of our double attention and the words of Isaiah are repeated by the prophet Nahum in chapter 1:15. God's peace is more than just the absence of agitation. It brings to us, wholeness, completeness and healing, it takes care of our welfare and safety, it brings soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest and harmony. His salvation speaks of deliverance, forgiveness, liberation and restoration. AMEN.

I am always thankful to God for the friends in my life that have bought the word of Peace and Hope, in every season. Can God count on you to be a vessel that brings the good news of Peace and Salvation?

Keys to faith; Declare God's word as truth, not as a suggestion, in every season and His Peace and Salvation will be the testimony of your life.
